George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin Wedding: Couple Banned Cell Phones, Reportedly Offered Cameras to Prevent Hacking
Actor George Clooney and Lawyer Amal Alamuddin quietly tied the knot this year.
Mr. and Mrs. Clooney were seen the night before the wedding in Venice partying and celebrating what was to be the beginning of their future together.
Of course the world would have loved to see America's favorite bachelor give away his title to Ms. Alamuddin but Clooney made sure that this wouldn't happen.
Clooney is a pretty private person, especially when it comes to his relationships. This is why George and Amal's wedding guest were subjected to follow very strict and specific rules while attending their nuptials.
According to TMZ, family and friends at the wedding were required to leave their cellphones at the hotel room. If it were absolutely necessary for one to carry their cell phone on them, they would have to check it in at a kiosk near the entrance of the event.
All guests allegedly received a camera to take pictures at the wedding so that George's people would be able to track the camera and access the photos. It was pivotal that none of the guests would sell any wedding photos to the media.
Some of the guests photographed arriving in water taxis outside of the wedding dinner before the wedding were best man Rande Gerber and wife Cindy Crawford, "Ocean's Eleven" co-star Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski, Bill Murray, best friend Richard Kind and Editor in Chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour. Seems like all guests followed procedure accordingly because no photos of the actual ceremony and reception have been leaked, just yet.
The guests were told that the reason for the tight security measures were due to all of the hacking of celebrity photos that has been occurring lately. All guests seem to live a particular lifestyle to George Clooney, therefore everybody understood.
What do you think about Clooney's security measures? Feel free to leave a comment below.
