Kirk Cousins played excellent in his Week 3 game against the Eagles. Because of this huge game, Madden NFL 15 raised his overall rating (OVR) by three points.

Let's take a look at some of the player ratings changes for Week 4. These updates were done Friday, but they did not include Thursday's Giants vs. Redskins game.

So, Cousins had a great game in Week 3 (427 yards passing and three touchdowns). He deserved the three point boost. But, then in Week 4, he played on Thursday and laid an egg (257 yards passing, one touchdown, four interceptions). He is rated at an 81 now, but this coming Friday, he has to go back down to 78.

Le'Veon Bell got a nice boost. The running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers rushed for 147 yards in his Week 3 game against the Panthers. Sunday, he tacked on 109 all-purpose yards in a loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. His rating went up from an 85 to an 88 before Sunday's loss. It could even go up to an 89 this coming Friday.

LeSean McCoy has fallen off the map, or so it seems. The Eagles just have not been good on offense this season. McCoy only has a 2.7 average and one touchdown in four games. Because of this, Madden 15 downgraded him to a 95 OVR, down two points.

To sum it all up, the Redskins and Eagles are unpredictable. The Redskins beat the Eagles in a game they probably were predicted to lose. Then, they were smoked by the Giants. The Eagles started off the year with three straight wins and then couldn't get their offense going against the 49ers Sunday.
