Kobe Bryant on Teammate Nick Young: Iggy Azalea Is More Successful [Watch]
The Los Angeles Lakers held their Media Day on Monday -- where Kobe Bryant did not hesitate to choose Iggy Azalea over Nick "Swaggy P" Young.
"Media Day Minute" certainly gave reporters a chance to ask away some of the questions they have been waiting to ask all summer. While sitting down with Bryant, Lakers reporter Mike Trudell threw him a question regarding one of his teammates and the NBA basketball player's rapper girlfriend. "Iggy Azalea or Swaggy P?" he asked.
It was not difficult at all for the shooting guard to answer the humorous question -- he quickly responded by picking the Australian hitmaker. "Iggy, she's been more successful in her career so far," he said.
Bryant's honest answer reflects the noticeable difference in the couple's career success. Nick Young, who just signed his first long-term contract with the LA Lakers, gets paid a middle-tier salary.
On the other hand, Iggy Azalea seems to be more accomplished than athlete boyfriend with her smash hit "Fancy," which topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart for seven consecutive weeks and earned the title "Song of the Summer." Also, her latest single "Black Widow" reached No. 4 on the Hot 100 list. And besides, she knows how to shoot it too.
