It seems both Esmeralda and Pablo are trying to move on with their lives, but Pablo shows that he still has feelings for Esmeralda. The two see each other, and though Pablo intends to make her jealous, he only ends up kissing her. (Catch up here on episodes 21-25 here.)

Here's what will happen in episodes 26-30.

Episode 26: Esmeralda says hi to Pablo when he is dancing with Monica. And the two begin to fight again. He is not able to contain his jealousy. Virginia advices Esmeralda to kidnap Pablo and to not let him go until he can realize how much she cares for him. Pablo thinks there is a relationship between Esmeralda and El Silencioso, making him realize he loves her.

Episode 27: Pablo sends a letter to Esmeralda through Omar. Pablo awaits for her response, but she doesn't want to see him. El Silencioso persuades her to write back and helps her write the letter. The two are supposed to meet under a tree, and Pablo sees the letter and thinks of making fun of her because of the way the letter was written.

Episode 28: Esmeralda doesn't want to know anything else about Pablo, and she also doesn't want to keep feeling like a phony around him. El Silencioso tries to make Esmeralda see reason, and she tells him that she loves Pablo more than she loves life. Lorenza yells at Pablo and tells him that she won't let him end his relationship with Monica. Lorenza says that if his father dies of a heart attack it will be his fault.

Pablo's father, Agustin, is thinking about ending his life. When El Silencioso outs him, he will lose everything.

Episode 29: Lorenza tells Monica that Pablo wants to break up their engagement. Pablo and Esmeralda meet, and in the heat of the moment, Pablo tells Esmeralda that he hates her children. Fela tells Esmeralda that she is her mother.

Episode 30: Rita is feeling bad, and Esmeralda initially thinks that it's just Rita trying to manipulate Esmeralda. Mariano and Monica talk, and he confesses his love for Esmeralda to her.
