Irina Shayk Graces Cover of Vogue Mexico for 15th Year Anniversary Edition
Irina Shayk is just one of the cover girls for the October issue of Vogue Mexico.
The Russian beauty gets her own cover, as do four other models. Karen Elson, Cameron Russell, Frankie Rayder and Guinevere Van Seenus also look glam on the October covers.
Shayk was chosen because she has been able to remain a top model despite her celebrity.
"For Irina, her time in fashion has been polarized by her aura of celebrity," the magazine explains. "The enigmatic Russian model tops the list of sexiest models."
The magazine decided to go big for its 15th year anniversary, and it thanked all the photographers, stylists and designers that had been by their side so far.
"We invite you to celebrate by raising a glass, to good health in the next 15 years," Vogue Mexico said.
Fittingly, Shayk poses with a martini glass.
She throws out her liquor and smiles as she poses in a cleavage-baring dress.
As the magazine points out, 2014 has been a very busy year for Shayk.
She landed her first movie role, but she continues to be an in-demand model. In the last few months, she posed for Brazilian brand Triton and Spanish shoe brand XTI. She also scored another Vogue cover, where she posed alongside boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Shayk also opened up about going topless for "Hercules."
"I'm a woman who is very confident with the body, with my body. I feel like you can be naked on a different level," she said. "To be half-naked for a Greek mythology movie, it's a piece of art. You know, there's nothing vulgar in there."
The model will soon head to Dubai for the opening of a restaurant by Australian chef Greg Malouf, notes International Business Times.
Shayk will be joined by Alessandra Ambrosio at the Oct. 13 event.
