Paul McCartney and Justin Timberlake will perform for free for two consecutive nights on Hollywood Boulevard.

On Sept. 23, McCartney will appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He will interview with Kimmel before going to the stage for a live performance. McCartney will be promoting his latest LP, New, which will be released by Concord. This will be McCartney's first solo album since 2007's Memory Almost Full.

On Sept. 24, Timberlake will also appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Timberlake too will sit down for an interview with Kimmel where he will discuss his new album and his upcoming film with Ben Affleck, Runner, Runner, before his live show.

In preparation for the stars' performances, Hollywood Boulevard will be shut down for a fourth of mile.

Fans who are not able to make it to Holly wood can watch the performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" or stream the shows via Jimmy Kimmel Live Stream. McCartney's performance will be available on Sept. 24. Timberlake's show will be available on Sept. 30, the same day of the release of his new album The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2.

Runner, Runner is a thriller about gambling directed by Brad Furman, director of 2011's The Lincoln Lawyer.

Timberlake plays Richie, a young man with big dreams who gets involved with online poker superstar Ivan Block, played by Affleck. Richie encounters Ivan after learning that Ivan cheated during a poker game the two played. When he confronts him, however, Richie finds himself attracted to Ivan's lifestyle which is filled with women, parties, money and alcohol.

"If your boss says you got to go out there and take a beating, take it and then say, 'Do you need me to take it again?'" Ivan says in the trailer.

"This whole thing's a trap?" Richie says in the trailer, questioning which route will hurt him the least.

The trailer for Runner, Runner is dark and grungy, creating a vibe similar to that of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Other stars set to appear in the film include Anthony Mackie, Gemma Arterton, Ben Schwartz and David Costabile.

Runner, Runner premieres in theaters Oct. 4.
