Eiza Gonzalez Instagram & Liam Hemsworth Update: Actress Wants to Become a US Citizen?
Eiza Gonzalez has been working in the United States in the past year, and now the Mexican actress wants to become a citizen.
The young actress, who was known to be in a relationship with Liam Hemsworth before the couple split up in 2013, was a guest on "The Late Late Show," where she explained that she was happy to be in the United States working on "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series."
Craig Ferguson, who was also born outside of the United States, showed Gonzalez one of his tattoos on his arm. He said it was a very American symbol, as it was Benjamin Franklin's "Join, or Die" political cartoon.
Gonzalez didn't know it was made by Franklin, which caused Ferguson to start talking about when he became a citizen.
Gonzalez revealed that she wasn't a citizen, but that she definitely wanted to be.
"Yes, I'm definitely going to do it," she said. "I love the states, so I'm happy living here."
Gonzalez explained that she has been working since she was about 14 in Mexico, where she worked for places like Nickelodeon Latin America.
She explained how strange it was to move to America and watch the original version of shows she grew up with, such as "Spongebob Squarepants."
Gonzalez also spoke about filling Salma Hayek's shoes with her role as Santanico Pandemonium.
"I did the snake dance. No pressure whatsoever," she said. "I was scared of snakes, but I mean, you don't get scared anymore."
She explained that the snake was all over her body, so it was just something she got accustomed to.
Gonzalez and Ferguson also shared their love for Robert Rodriguez. They both appreciated his hats, and said he was a real man from Texas.
The actress then explained that that's the kind of man she's into, and said that men like that can come in handy when you're moving.
Meanwhile, Hemsworth recently opened up about his other ex, Miley Cyrus.
