On Friday, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to denounce reports claiming that she nearly abandoned her daughter at a hotel in Paris.

Several media outlets including RadarOnline obtained video footage of the reality star leaving a a Paris hotel without North to fly back to California. However, we later see Kardashian turn around and go back to the hotel to retrieve her daughter -- who many assumed she almost left behind.

Despite the questionable video that surfaced online on Wednesday, Kardashian insisted that she did not almost forget her 1-year-old daughter. Instead, Kardashian said that she was simply checking to make sure her daughter's carseat was secure before leaving with her to fly back home.

This isn't the first time Kardashian was ridiculed for her parenting skills during her stay in Paris for this year's Paris Fashion week.

Last week, Necole Bitchie slammed Kardashian and her hubby for taking North to a Givienchy fashion show where the toddler was spotted crying and clearly wanting to go home. The gossip site advised West and Kardashian to stop using North as an "accessory" and allow her to be a normal child.

"The flashing lights. The front row seats. Baby North West is not here for any of this," Necole Bitchie wrote. "She rather be somewhere playing with other adorable babies like Blue Ivy and Future, and dressing in OshKosh B'gosh instead of sheer Givenchy toddler couture! She's a baby, not an accessory."

Following the backlash for bringing her daughter to Paris Fashion Week, Kardashian defended herself and provided an explanation for North's attendance.

"She started to cry when we were walking out the door [of our hotel]," Kardashian told Us Weekly. "And we couldn't leave her. So, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing."
