iPhone 5 vs iPhone 5s vs iPhone 5c: Should You Upgrade If You Already Own an iPhone 5?
While many experts agree that the iPhone 5s is one of -- if not the most -- prominent smartphone to enter our market, it is still difficult for consumers to decide whether to buy it, since Apple introduces new iPhones so often.
Walt Mossberg of AllThingsD argues that it depends on which edition of the iPhone you have.
"I like it and can recommend it for anyone looking for a premium, advanced smartphone," he said. "If you are an iPhone fan with any model older than the iPhone 5, the new 5s will be a big step up. If you own an iPhone 5, there's less of a case for upgrading, unless you want the fingerprint reader and improved camera. You can get the new OS free of charge."
The new operating system, which was released yesterday, is so impressive that some even say that you won't need to get a new phone as long as you have the new iOS7.
Some proof that the iPhone 5 is so similar to the iPhone 5S and 5C lies within Apple's own store selection. Apple is discontinuing the iPhone 5 but will keep up with the 4S, which is much more different than the new pair of iPhones than the original 5. It is said that Apple won't even be manufacturing the original 5 anymore.
The iPhone 5s, dubbed by Apple as "the most forward-thinking smartphone in the world," will go on sale tomorrow alongside the 5c, which Apple calls "the most colorful iPhone yet."
