Madden 15 Gameplay, Review, Week 5 Player Ratings, & Roster on PS4, Xbox One: Whose Ratings Could Change in Week 6?
Week 5 of the NFL season is almost complete and with some explosive performances by the Packers, Patriots and Broncos, the NFL's powerhouses are beginning to show their true strengths.
Several skill players had big games in Week 5, and with Week 6 approaching, the "Madden NFL 15" player ratings will be updated (Friday) to show these players' performances.
Let's take a look at Week 5's winners and losers and examine the impact it could have on their player ratings in "Madden 15."
Who's Hot: Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers: Rodgers absolutely torched the Vikings' secondary. He was pulled after three quarters after the game was already decided in the Packers' favor. Right now, Rodgers is ranked at a 97 overall rating (OVR). But, after throwing for seven (7) touchdowns in his last two games, Rodgers certainly could be a 98 or even a 99. His accuracy and his timing is seemingly improving since the losses to the Seahawks (Week 1) and Lions (Week 3).
Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots: Brady has not looked good... until Sunday night when he basically told naysayers that he still is the real deal. Brady threw the ball 35 times, completing 23 of those passes for 292 yards, but it was his game management and precision that helped the Patriots destroy the Bengals 43-17. Before the upcoming roster update this Friday, Brady was at a 90 OVR. After Sunday night, he should jump up at least two points. His low acceleration (ACC) rating of 53 may be deserving, but his leadership and quarterbacking skills make up for that. Brady showed he was still a top-10 QB Sunday night.
Who's Going Down?
Kirk Cousins, QB, Washington Redskins: Well, his luck was not going to last forever. Cousins played terrible in Week 4 versus the New York Giants and he will likely struggle Monday against the defending Super Bowl Champions. Prior to the Week 4 debacle, Cousins was at a 78 OVR. He likely will fall to a 75 OVR due to his interceptions and failure to complete passes.
