WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for October 10, 2014: John Cena Confronts Dean Ambrose on "MizTV"
Prior to the cameras rolling of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman came out to criticize the John Cena-Dean Ambrose match at Hell in a Cell (HIAC) with the Philadelphia crowd giving him a huge pop as he returns to his old stomping Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) grounds.
Stephanie McMahon came out to kick off the 15th anniversary of Friday Night SmackDown before being interrupted by John Laurinaitis, who claimed that he was the greatest SmackDown general manager of all time. That led to Teddy Long stepping out to confront Laurinaitis to say Long was the greatest of general manager of all time. In order to clear the air between the two, Stephanie McMahon declared that both former general managers should get a team together for a 15-Man Tag Team match for later in the show.
McMahon went on to declare that Cena and Ambrose would be guests on "MizTV" later in the night to have a face-to-face prior to their HIAC bout. McMahon was interrupted this time by Adam Rose, who asked McMahon to stop being a "lemon," forcing her to schedule him in a match against Kane.
Kane came out and told Rose that he was not a "cheeseburger, a lemon, or a 'Rosebud'" before Choke-Slamming him and running through the entire "Rosebud" entourage (with the exception of The Bunny) to win the match.
