Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli Relationship News 2014: Stars Prepare for Upcoming Project
Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli are gearing up for their third consecutive project together.
After shooting the highly successful "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," the two toured Mexico with the play "Los Derechos de la Mujer." Their next project is just the two of them as they take on "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus," which kicks off on Oct. 16.
Ruben Lara, who also produced "Los Derechos de la Mujer," talked about what to expect from the new show.
"When we did 'Men Are From Mars'... the first time with Sergio Goyri, we wanted a man and a woman, but we did it with just a man, as it had been presented in France," he said. "It was a super success."
Boyer and Rulli liked the idea of the show during their run of "Los Derechos de la Mujer." The project took shape during 40 performances throughout Mexico.
Lara explained that the new show would take them through new cities that were previously not accessible to the bigger cast of "Los Derechos."
"Although we're not planning to go to Monterrey, there are many cities that we didn't visit with 'Los Derechos,'" he said. "This play is cheaper. We'll be able to go to smaller cities, places that one doesn't go because of cost."
So far, there are 15 dates attached to the show, and Lara is hoping for another repeat hit.
But he wants to be clear that he's not taking advantage of Rulli and Boyer's relationship. He is just worried about a high quality show.
He is, though, riding on the success of their last telenovela.
"Of course I am taking advantage of the success of their novela, but it'll be a high-quality product, a successful play. Also, they wouldn't accept if you offered them crap."
