NBA 2K15 is getting a mobile version for those who want to play basketball on their phones. The mobile app will be available on iOS (Apple) and Android devices.

For $8, mobile gamers can enjoy the full game with MyCareer mode and the Pharrell Williams soundtrack.

"With our latest NBA 2K15 mobile experience, fans have an opportunity to experience NBA action anywhere, anytime, in the palm of their hand," Visual Concepts President Greg Thomas said. "We are thrilled to bring NBA 2K's ultra-realistic gameplay and popular game modes to handheld devices."

Phillipines Gets its Chance at 2K15: Thursday, gamers in the Phillipines were able to enjoy NBA 2K15 when the game launched there.

EA Sports wants in on the basketball simulation game world. With their NBA Live 2015 game set to be released Oct. 28, EA Sports is hyping up their game to compete with 2K15.

In NBA Live 2015, visuals will improve and so will the soundtrack. Sound familiar? That's because 2K Sports did the same thing. Live 2015 will use a one-hour-and-25-minute soundtrack that was worked on by NBA star Damian Lillard and a former Cleveland Cavaliers DJ.

"I shared what type of music I like," Lillard told Rolling Stone, "and what music I thought would be fitting for a video game, but that's about as far as it went. I wasn't like the final decision-maker or nothing like that. They knew what type of music I liked."

The 2014 version of NBA Live was not well received so EA Sports will likely fix some mistakes and try to attack 2K15 with a better campaign this year.
