Mario Lopez Admits to Having One Night Stand With Britney Spears
On Friday, a source from Us Weekly confirmed that the one-night stand that Mario Lopez writes about in his memoir, "Just Between Us," was with pop star, Britney Spears.
In the book, Lopez does not specify who the "mega pop star" is that he had a one night-stand with years ago. However, Us Weekly confirms Lopez and Spears had a one-time rendezvous in Las Vegas back in 2006.
According to the Us Weekly report, Lopez and Spears were both single when they hooked up at the time. In 2006, Spears had split from her husband, Kevin Ferderline, while Lopez was on a break with his then-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff, whom he dated from 2006 to 2008.
Prior to Us Weekly's revelation about Lopez's one-night stand, the "Extra" host dished on his pop-star hookup on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier this month.
At the time of his sit-down with DeGeneres, Lopez admitted to having a one-night stand, but refused to reveal the name of his one-night stand partner out of respect for his wife, Courtney Laine Mazza.
"You know, my wife, who is the most important as far as her opinion to get her blessing and she's totally cool and she's knows everything, but out of respect for her and out of respect for this person, you know, I'm a gentleman and I don't want to drop names," Lopez explained to DeGeneres.
However, Lopez is candid in his memoir about his infidelity, his childhood stardom, his relationships, and his father's illegal activity.
Lopez explained to DeGeneres that he preferred "telling all" in his memoir as opposed to spilling the beans on television.
"When I decided I was going to do something like this, I just said, 'Alright, I'm going to be unfiltered and just put everything out there," he added.

Britney Spears has yet to respond to reports about her alleged hookup with Mario Lopez.
