Ready to slog your way through Grand Theft Auto 5? Use these cheats for a little help.

Here's a trick to get an easy weapons upgrade. Here's how you do it:

Start a mission. During the mission visit the Ammu-Nation gun store. At Ammu-Nation go ahead and buy a gun and all of its upgrades. Now kill yourself. You will fail the mission, but you will get your money back, and once you visit the gun store again, the gun's upgrades will already show as "purchased." This means you will not have to buy the upgrades again.

Need some fast and easy money? This is probably the easiest and fastest way to make money.

Here's how you do it:

Head to the ocean and go to the near north of the map. Look underwater for a crashed airplane. Inside the wreckage you will find a briefcase with a ton of cash. Pick up the cash and then switch to another one of the characters you have to choose from. The briefcase magically appears on the shore, yet again. This means you can keep doing this glitch and keep loading up on money.

Get yourself a Caddy:

Not a Cadillac, but a golf cart.

Rip off your customers in a taxi:

Ever been in a taxi and felt that the driver was taking the long way to get more money out of you? That's exactly how you can get some easy money in GTA 5 too! Pick up a customer and follow the GPS directions but don't go to the destination. Joy ride around the city and rack up the meter until you are satisfied, then finally drop off the customer at their destination. You can make over $1,000 this way.
