Tori Spelling Ebola Scare: Actress Rushed to Hospital and Quarantined
The 41-year-old former "90210" actress was admitted to Cedars Sinai Hospital on Saturday running a fever, coughing uncontrollably, and having trouble breathing, TMZ reported. Spelling was placed in isolation upon arrival for fear she might have Ebola, but she has been cleared.
She is being treated in Los Angeles by a lung specialist for a severe case of bronchitis and a sinus infection.
The mother-of-four was filming her Lifetime reality series "True Tori" when her coughing fit required immediate medical attention, Us Weekly reported. She will spend the rest of the week at Cedars Sinai Hospital.
This is Spelling's second time hospitalized in six months.
She went to the hospital with "a severe migraine" in late April during her marital turmoil with husband Dean McDermott.
Spelling has watched her marriage fall apart-much of the ugliness captured on camera-since rumors about McDermott, 47, cheating on her proved true last year.
The reality show's shocking reveals have included McDermott admitting that sex with Spelling "wasn't fantastic" and that is what led to his January rehab stint and infidelity. The actor admitted to having an affair at the end of last year. He also accused his wife of a shopping addiction.
Spelling reacted with a tearful meltdown that she's "never enough" for his ravenous sexual appetite.
"He was my soul mate, but he completely broke my heart," Spelling told Us Weekly.
"It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship," she added.
Marital woes and husband's infidelity may be taking a health toll on the blonde starlet.
Spelling and McDermott married in 2006. They have four young children.
Season 2 of "True Tori," which premieres Tuesday, chronicles the couples attempt to save their marriage with counseling.
The actress had to cancel promotional appearances for the show this week in light of health issues.
