Gamers excited to get their hands on an early version (beta) of Grand Theft Auto 5 will be out of luck because Rockstar Games made it crystal clear that there will be no beta version of the new game for the next-generation consoles.

"Please note: There is no pre-release 'Beta' test for Grand Theft Auto V. If you see ads or solicitations to join a beta program, beware as this is likely some type of online phishing scam."

Earlier this year when GTA 5 was released for PS3 and Xbox 360, Rockstar said the same thing: no early access to GTA will be granted.

GTA 5 finally hits the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on Nov. 18. PC gamers will have to wait until Jan. 27, 2015.

Are online heists coming? Short answer is yes, but with a catch. The online heists that will be available as downloadable content (DLC) will not come out during the November release of GTA 5. The DLC is taking game developers much longer than they expected and cannot guarantee that it will be ready anytime soon.

Gamers thought that heists were coming soon because of leaked videos on YouTube by user DomisLive. Then Dom found out that whoever leaked the images to him was lying and faking the images.

At least gamers know that Rockstar games wants to get it right with this DLC and that is why they are taking the time to make sure it is a near flawless release.

If the heists are delayed until sometime in 2015, some gamers could get very impatient, but at least they know that they indeed are eventually coming.
