Iggy Azalea's fashion star continues to rise.

The rapper, who is also the host of MTV's "House of Style," is appearing in Forever 21 ads, and she is joined by her basketball boyfriend, Nick Young.

Azalea, who is used to being photographed for magazines, was well prepared for what the shoot entailed. But Young was not.

"As the hours rolled by I think Nick started to realize photoshoots are hard work too," Azalea said. "It was funny watching him have that revelation."

Young explained that the experience was cool, and that he and Azalea had "great chemistry."

The shoot was two days long, and Azalea said that by the end of it they had listened to just about everything twice.

The two also brought their puppy to the shoot, and she tried to eat all the shoes, according to Azalea.

Young not only got an appreciation for the life of a model, he also went away with a bunch of new hats. And he won't have Azalea trying to borrow too many of them.

"I haven't worn them because his head is too big," she said.

The rapper recently opened up about how she never thought that she would have a No. 1 hit.

She knew there were a lot of things against her, but she did make it happen. She was on the Hot 100 for 7 straight weeks, notes Billboard.

"I never thought that I would have a No. 1," she said. "I'm a female rapper and we've seen it only happen three other times in the history of the world."

Azalea was recently caught by TMZ exiting the airport, and she was asked whether or not she would ever collaborate on a song with Snoop Dogg. The rapper asked what the TMZ reporter would do if he were in her shoes.

Though the two have put the drama behind them, Snoop Dogg posted a picture of another person and used it to insult Azalea's looks.
