Actress Goldie Hawn's main squeeze, Kurt Russell, still has that charm and he's set to bring it to the big screen with his new role in "Fast & Furious 7."

"Fast & Furious" star Vin Diesel confirmed the news that the seasoned actor will be one of his co-stars in the popular series of films.

According to MSN, actor Vin Diesel posted a first look of Russell on the set with him and Paul Walker on Tuesday, standing in what looks like a garage full of car parts. How appropriate!

A star-struck Diesel posted: "Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with... P.s. One from set... " The details and plot are still a mystery to the public as well as what Russell's role will be.

According to Deadline, actor John Brotherton, whose credits include "The Conjuring," "Jane By Design" and "One Life To Live," will play Sheppard, who's described as the Russell character's right-hand man. The cast is shooting in Atlanta and will also include actors Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Black, Jason Statham and Djimon Hounsou.

The action-packed film is scheduled to be released July 11, 2014, and will mark the 62-year-old actor's first major movie role since Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof" in 2007, MSN adds.

The "Fast & Furious" franchise is still considered one of the most lucrative of all time, with the first five movies in the series bringing in $1.6 billion at the global box office, Us Weekly reported.

Russell can add "Fast & Furious 7" his impressive roster of films, including "Escape From New York," "Backdraft," "Stargate" and "Grindhouse,"among others.

Not only is Russell's professional life amping up, but his personal life is going great as well.

Russell and Hawn, who have been together for over 20 years yet never wed, reportedly looked like "a pair of randy teenagers" at an event held last night in New York, according to the Express. The event was put on by DuJour.com founder Jason Binn and Kurt, which honored the actress for her work with The Hawn Foundation, a non-profit group to promote social and emotional learning and self-awareness.
