Telemundo 'Yo Soy El Artista' Recap: Olga Tañon Performs One of Her Hits, Contestants End Show With a Kiss
"Yo Soy El Artista" kicked off with its 14 contestants performing Juan Luis Guerra's "Ojala Que Llueva."
And Lucero didn't wait too long to announce whether Pablo or Hassan won the public vote. Pablo just won with 54 percent of the vote.
Jenilca and Susy kicked off the performances with a duet. They sang "El Ultimo Adios" by Paulino Rubio.
Aaron and Tairon took them on with a duet of their own. The two sang a salsa song. The best part of their performance was how well the two worked together and how much fun they seemed to be having. And it showed, as Aaron and Tairon beat Jenilca and Susy.
Envee and Pablo also sang a duet. The two sat on lit-up stairs for a simple but visually stunning performance.
For Nat'lee, it was the first time she was able to perform on her own. The Cuban singer wore a red dress with fringe and sang a Celia Cruz song.
Carlos and Cathia sang a duet, and Carlos was also able to show off his piano skills. The two sang "Contigo Aprendi" by Armando Manzanero. The two ended their performance with a kiss.
Cesar and Estefania were the last duet of the night, and the two performed a song by Jesse y Joy. Cesar and Estefania decided to go barefoot for their number.
Olga Tañon also put on quite the show. She sang "Todo Lo Que Sube Baja," and she was joined by a group of dancers who were all wearing black. Tañon wore a leather jacket and pants for a rock 'n' roll look. The clothes were by Irma Martinez.
Joanna, Aaron, Nat'Lee, Stefania, Tairon, Cesar and Carlos were the first to be saved by the judges. Cathy, Susy, Envee and Jenilca were saved by either a judge, Lucero or the rest of the contestants. This meant that Pablo and Ryan were the bottom two.
