NBA 2K15 Gameplay, Player Ranking, Review & News: Xbox One, PS4 Versions Remain Popular, but PC Edition Shines
"NBA 2K15" is making its way to 25-inch monitors all over North America. Computer monitors, that is.
Yes, it has been out since Oct. 7 just like the other versions of the game, but PC games are a unique breed of video games. They require the finest precision and gamers know right away when there is a glitch or a missing piece.
"NBA 2K15" is earning the respect it deserves on its PC version. Because of pristine attention to detail and easy pick up and go, this is the ideal PC basketball game.
Look at this unbiased review from a user on metacritic.com:
What I like:
- The game works (well, at least offline).
- The story mode made me laugh a couple of times. Last year's interviews were a pain and I hated every boring pixel of my player. Now I just lean back, watch cutscenes and enjoy the cheese.
- Music has improved.
- Graphics are nice
- Players have 0-20+ special abilities which is always nice if I need to come up with an explanation about why somebody hit or missed a shot.
- Nowitzki is still a beast.
- I can shootaround without having to maneuver through a labyrinth of menu screens.
- Gameplay hasn't got worse.
Best game of 2014 for me so far.
PCGamer.com says this about the game:
"Allow yourself to get pulled into the show, and it's hard to see where real life finishes and NBA 2K starts. It's the best sports series on earth. By a distance."
These are some pretty great reviews. Averaged out on metacritic.com, "NBA 2K15" earns an 87 metascore. That's pretty good for a PC basketball game.
