Although there are many people who wish Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would permanently host the Golden Globes, it is not going to happen.

Amy Poehler revealed that the two funny ladies will not be hosting against after January's show, notes the Hollywood Reporter.

Poehler said it would be the "third and final" time the two would host.

"It's the law of diminishing returns, which is why this is our last time," Poehler said. "Unless you want to be a perennial host, there's nowhere to go but down!"

Poehler and Fey have hosted twice before, but January's ceremony will be the first time they host the show back to back.

In the same interview, Poehler opened up about her career.

She explained that her life sometimes seems unbelievable, and that she got over feeling inadequate by thinking that she deserved to be there.

And she also opened up about wanting the best actress Golden Globe for "Parks and Recreation."

"You think you really want it. You're just like, 'Give me that pudding!' You just want to taste it," she said. "Then you realize, like everything else, it's nice to be included at the table, but if you get the pudding, it doesn't matter either way."

Poehler has been promoting her new book, "Yes, Please," which went on sale on Oct. 28.

She said the name of the book came from having a hard time finding the right answer, notes Time.

She said the title sounds "powerful and concise." It's also both an answer and a request.

Poehler's book also addresses women in many different ways, one of which is about women comparing themselves to other women. Poehler believes that women should repeat one phrase.

"Good for her! Not for me," she said. "That is the motto women should constantly repeat over and over again. Good for her! Not for me."
