Eva Longoria Dating 2013: Actress Says She's Doing Just Fine Without Kids and a Hubby
For Mexican actress Eva Longoria, it's OK if life doesn't turn out like Wisteria Lane, in cookie-cutter suburbia, white picket fences and kids and a husband. Matter of fact, the "Desperate Housewives" star and "Devious Maids" executive producer thinks that her life is great just the way it is.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood's Live, the 38-year-old, non-traditional Latina isn't phased by the pressure that women often face when they are approaching 40.
"No, I'm not one of those women that's like, 'Oh I must procreate!'" she told Access Hollywood Live's Kit Hoover and Billy Bush. "So, no. I think kids are a product of love, so if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person then that's when the time is right."
Only time and fate will tell if children are in the cards for the Latin beauty. At the same token, she realizes that the window of opportunity won't be open forever.
"I don't think if I'm 50 and single - I'm not going to go and [have a baby] by myself," she told Access Hollywood Live.
Longoria's carefree approach and strength hasn't come without its share of heartbreak, however.
She was married twice before, to "General Hospital" hunk, Tyler Christopher with whom she divorced in 2004 and French professional basketball player, Tony Parker in 2007 with whom she divorced in 2011. Parker reportedly had an affair with Erin Barry, the wife of his former teammate on the San Antonio Spurs.
Recently, the actress realized that business and pleasure don't mix. While she was producing the reality TV show, "Ready for Love," she realized she was ready for love again and took a shot with one of the stars of the show, Ernesto Arguello.
Unfortunately, she realized that they weren't ready for love after all and the couple split last month.
Would she want to get hitched again? "I've been married twice, so that's been there, done that!" she told Hoover and Bush.
Kids and men aside, Longoria is onto brighter pastures, she will be co-hosting the 2013 NCLR ALMA Awards alongside NBC's Extra host/actor Mario Lopez, where she will be sure to dazzle. Check them out on Friday at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PST on NBC.
