As part of the anticipated release of “Halo: Master Chief Collection,” Xbox released a trailer of one of the remastered games: “Halo 2.” The new version has improved graphics, animation and sound effects; however, this particular game’s remastering comes before the tenth anniversary of the release of “Halo 2.”

According to Eurogamer, 343 Industries, which developed the Halo franchise, handed over the 2004 video game to Blur Studios. The cinematic specialist studio recreated all the cut scenes in the game, modernizing the game’s image.

The trailer was released ahead of the tenth anniversary of the game’s release, which falls on Nov. 9, according to Entertainment Weekly. The studio has done similar work for “Star Wars,” “Far Cry” and the “Batman: Arkham” series. Blur created a series of videos juxtaposing the old cut scenes with the new ones to show off the improved graphics and designs.

Game Informer reported back in August that the remastered version of the second game in the “Halo” series would have a new music and sounds. Though the music remains the same, this time it was recorded in surround sound. The special effects will also be improved.

The new “Halo: Master Chief Collection” for Xbox One will be released on Nov. 11.

However, this is not the only new thing coming from Xbox. According to Mashable there will be two live action new digital series based on the “Halo” series. A trailer was released a couple of days ago for “Halo: Nightfall,” which introduces a new character, Agent Jameson Locke. Locke will be featured in the fifth installment of the “Halo” series. Mike Colter plays Locke in the series.

Xbox released the trailer for the new digital series.

Steven Spielberg is part of the team working on the second digital series. The first episode of “Nightfall” will be screened during HaloFest, a day before the release of “Halo: Master Chief Collection.”
