Another teenager has died after being shot in a fatal school shooting at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Washington state last month.

Medical workers confirmed that 14-year-old Shaylee Chuckulnaskit died from severe injuries at 4:45 p.m. on Friday at the Providence Regional Medical Center, report Reuters. She was one of the five victims who were shot on Oct. 24 when 14-year-old Jaylen Fryberg opened fire in a crowded lunchroom.

Officials said that Fryberg, who was a well-liked student who played on the school football team, sent a text message inviting two of his cousins and three of his friends to meet him at the school cafeteria.

As they were gathered around a lunch table, he used a .40 caliber Berretta to shoot them from behind, killing Zoe Galasso, 14, at the scene and Gia Soriano, who died in the hospital the following Sunday. His cousin, Andrew Fryberg, 15, is reported to be in critical condition while his other cousin, Nate Hatch, 14, is in satisfactory condition,

On her passing, Chuckulnaskit's family released a statement describing her as "a radiant light" who brought them "incredible joy and happiness," reports CNN.

"Our hearts are broken at the passing of our beautiful daughter. Shay means everything to us," the family said.

"In Shay's short life she has been a radiant light bringing us incredible joy and happiness. She has been a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted friend and a wonderful part of our community. We can't imagine life without her."

Tulalip Tribes, a Native American tribe, also released a statement, saying, "The Tulalip Tribes continue to offer up our condolences and prayers for the passing of Zoe Galasso and Gia Sariano, our hearts are heavy as we hear of the passing of Shaylee Chuckulnaskit. With the loss of these three young lives, there are no words that can truly express our compassion and condolences and the loss we feel."
