Kate Middleton and Prince William Pregnancy Update: Royal Couple Goes on 'Babymoon'
Though Kate Middleton is suffering from severe morning sickness from her second pregnancy, she and her husband Prince William have decided to go on a romantic getaway, which Us Weekly described as a "babymoon."
An Us Weekly source claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge "is doing a lot better," and she, Prince William and their 14-month-old son, Prince George, all took a trip to Queen Elizabeth's home in Scotland.
"William wanted to take Kate away for a break after her [rough past couple of months]," said the Us Weekly insider, who also added that the couple usually go to Balmoral earlier in the year. "They both love the outdoors and the weather isn't too cold yet, so it's the perfect time to take a trip."
Though the couple has flown away for a romantic getaway, they are still excited to bring Prince George along with them for the trip.
"It's great that George is now at an age where he can travel," the source said.
In addition to enjoying some R&R before she gives birth, the Duchess of Cambridge has also been focusing on transforming her style.
Vanity Fair reports that Middleton has hired new stylist, Natasha "Tash" Archer, to transform her look from a conservative style to a more modern, risque look.
Vanity Fair's source explain that Archer has helped Middleton become less reluctant to implementing fashion risks, and now Middleton is more interested in changing up her style.
"Tash helps source some of the clothes," the source said. "She shops a lot for Kate online and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on. She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate's really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes."
E! News reports that prior to her getaway, Middleton was last seen sporting an above-the-knee Temperlay London garment with sleeve cutouts and a nude underlay.
The garment quickly sold out on the company's website immediately after Middleton wore her Temperlay piece.
Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to welcome their second child sometime in April.
