On Saturday, Eliza Dushku -- who is best known for starring in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" -- took to Twitter to reveal that she had been robbed in front of the Rhode Island Omni hotel while attending R.I.'s Comic con.

According to an E! News source, Dushku's $4,000 Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from her at the hotel after she "put her pocketbook down while she was getting other things out of her car."

"The police looked at surveillance tape and were able to identify the suspect and a companion," the source added.

Dusku's initially tweeted that police "weren't able to do anything" despite the evidence shown in the surveillance video.

However, Dushku and her fans' aggressive tweets to the Rhode Island state police and Omni hotel prompted authorities to take action and find the suspects who robbed Dushku of her $4,000 present from Sharon Osbourne.

The men were later caught and identified as 27-year-old Scott Pryor and 30-year-old Jamie Lange, People reports.

According to E! News, both men will charged with a felony because of the high value of the Louis Vuitton bag.

Dushku tweeted that both Pryor and Lange were wearing "GOLDEN GLADIATOR/CEASAR" Halloween costumes at the time of the robbery.

Dushku also tweeted a photo of herself and another online photo of her LV purse to prove to fans that her twitter rant was not a hoax, the New York Daily News reports.

Following the arrest of the perpetrators, Dushku posted another tweet thanking her fans for their support and efforts in helping her retrieve her purse.

The 33-year-old actress also posted an Instagram photo of herself in bed after the tumultuous night she experienced in Rhode Island.
