Latin Grammy Awards 2014 Date and Performers: Angelique Boyer, Sebastián Rulli to Attend Special 15th Annual Ceremony
Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli may not be joining forces for another telenovela, but they will be attending the Latin Grammys.
The Latino power couple will take part of the 15th annual show on Nov. 20. The event will start at 8 p.m. and air on Univision.
Though the Latin Grammys website doesn't give too much detail about Boyer and Rulli, it's assumed that the two will be presenting together. The two will also likely make their way down the red carpet together.
Before the night kicks off, there will be a "Noche De Estrellas," or Night of the Stars event, which will look at celebrity arrivals. This show will be hosted by Giselle Blondet, Chiquinquira Delgado, Alejandra Espinoza, Raul de Molina, Rodner Figueroa and Tony Dandadres. The pre-show is supposed to connect fans to their favorite celebrities via social media.
So far, not too much else has been announced about the show. However, Kuno Becker and Ne-Yo are confirmed as presenters, and Carlos Santana and Pitbull will perform together for the very first time. Other performers include Ricky Martin, Pablo Alboran, Camila, J Balvin, La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho and La Original Banda el Limon de Salvador Lizarraga.
Organizers have been talking up the show as it celebrates a milestone.
"We're thinking about beginning the festivities on the day of the awards and continuing to celebrate them during the entire year up to the 16th anniversary," said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., the CEO and president of the academy. "Just a while ago, [the gala] was a little girl whom we were carrying and whose diapers we were changing, and suddenly 15 years is before us."
The event is being celebrated much in the same way that a young Latina girl would celebrate her 15th birthday, or quinceañera.
