Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means that the holiday shopping season will be here before we know it.

The Black Friday season is the time of the year when clothing merchants and other retailers entice shoppers to spend with huge sales and savings . Unlike at other times of the year, stores use both stacking coupons, codes that cut prices on sale items, and free or discounted shipping rates in order to get customers to spend.Merchants also lure Black Friday shoppers in with high initial markdowns.

Instead of waiting until Black Friday for amazing deals, many stores are offering huge savings ahead of time. Clothing stores often start their Black Friday sales online very early in the week, giving consumers the option to check out the deals on Thanksgiving and sometimes on Wednesday.

For example, Express, Inc., a retailer that caters to young women and men, has announced their pre-Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for 2014, reports STIXS.

From Nov. 16 to Dec. 1, shoppers who spend $50 in stores will receive up to $25 worth of Express Cash that they can use from Cyber Monday up until Dec.12. In addition, Express is offering $15 dollars off of a $30 purchase, $30 off of a $75 purchase, or $60 off of a $150 purchase in stores when you present a printable coupon or use the online code 2997. As a result, consumers can save money and earn Express cash while shopping in November that can be applied later.

In honor of Cyber Monday, Express will also offer 40 percent off all known items along with free shipping with no minimum purchase.

According to DealNews, other retailers, like Levi's, Ralph Lauren, and Backcountry, will hold more traditional Black Friday sales. Some apparel stores will also offer a Black Friday-specific discount and huge deals of up to 75% off that will only last for 24 hours or less.
