On "La Gata," Esmeralda's daughter gets sick, and Lorenza decides to use it as an opportunity to mess with Esmeralda's mind. While all this is going on, Esmeralda realizes just how much El Silencioso has been there for her. This also makes her wonder why he is so invested in her, so she questions him about who he really is. (Catch up on episodes 46-50 here.)

Here's what to expect from episodes 51-55 of "La Gata."

Episode 51:

El Italiano wants to stay by Esmeralda's side and is determined to hurt her. Pablo, however, arrives at just the right moment and is able to save her.

But that's not enough to ease Esmeralda's jealousy, as she can't stand that Gisella is trying to get closer to Pablo. La Jarocha tries to talk some sense into Esmeralda. He tells her to open her eyes and fight for who she loves.

Episode 52:

Agustin has shifted his attention to Esmeralda. He knows that he can't hurt El Silencioso, so instead, he will try to hurt El Silencioso's daughter, Esmeralda.

Pablo is being accused of shooting El Italiano, but Esmeralda knows he is innocent. Still, Pablo is taken to jail, where he finds Centavito. Both men have been accused of crimes they didn't commit.

Episode 53:

Pablo is in a maximum-security prison for something he didn't do.

While Lorenza has something up her sleeve, El Silencioso has a conversation with Rita, and the two discuss Pablo.

Episode 54:

Things are looking worse for Pablo, who might spend the rest of his life behind bars. El Silencioso might die, and if that does happen, that will spell more trouble for Pablo. In the meantime, Esmeralda is very worried about Pablo, as she and her family know that he is not guilty.

Episode 55:

Gisella is thinking about visiting Pablo in jail every single day, which is not something that Esmeralda is happy about.

Esmeralda goes to visit Pablo and finds out that Ines is trying to steal from Pablo's house.
