'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1' 2014 Cast: Josh Hutcherson Talks Eating Human Flesh, Lack of Sexual Attraction for Jennifer Lawrence [Watch]
Celebrities often reveal bizarre things about themselves in interviews, but Josh Hutcherson may have topped everyone.
"The Hunger Games" actor allegedly told GQ Magazine that he was curious about how human flesh tastes, but don't worry: Hutcherson isn't thinking of doing anything drastic.
"I don't want somebody to die for me to eat them," he said. "However, if someone happened to die from natural causes, and it was not so taboo ... I'm curious. I want to know what it tastes like. Like you want to know what a pigeon tastes like, you know, except it's a human. We're all animals."
The 22-year-old actor also talked about his co-star and friend, Jennifer Lawrence. He said that the two got along as soon as they met, but there isn't anything more between them. According to Hutcherson, if there were any sort of sexual attraction between the two, they would have "the most intense relationship in the world." Instead, the two see each other as brother and sister and have felt this way since the beginning.
A new clip for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" was released on Wednesday. In the clip, Caesar Flickerman, played by Stanley Tucci, talks to Hutcherson's Peeta, revealing he didn't die.
"There has been rampant speculation about what really happened in the quarter quell and here to shed a little light on the subject for us is a very special guest," Caesar said. "Please welcome Mr. Peeta Mellark. ... Peeta, a lot of people feel as though they are in the dark."
Lawrence's character, Katniss Everdeen, gets up from her seat and walks up to the TV while Peeta explains how the games work. A surprised Katniss says, "You're alive."
