Outspoken actor and comedian Andy Dick was arrested for stealing a man's luxury necklace. While it may sound like a story straight out of the "Bling Ring," Dick was arrested Friday after taking off on a bicycle with a $1,000 necklace.

Last week, Dick was seen riding a bicycle in Hollywood when he spotted a man wearing a chain walking down the street. According to TMZ, Dick "rode up and asked if he could see it. The guy recognized Dick and said, 'Sure.' Andy then allegedly pulled a Dick move and rode off with the jewelry."

The officers searched for 48-year-old Dick, eventually finding him outside his apartment in Hollywood on Friday night. He was arrested and charged with grand theft and given a $25,000 bail.

There's no reported motive behind the crime, but this incident isn't Andy's first run-in with the law.

The NewsRadio star was first arrested in 1999, when he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole and emergency responders found him in possession of cocaine and marijuana. Dick was able to avoid jail time for driving under the influence, cocaine possession and hit-and-run charges by going through a drug-treatment program.

The next arrest came in 2004 when Dick bizarrely exposed his backside while at a McDonald's restaurant. In 2008, charges against the comic were more serious, if no less unusual, when he was contacted by authorities for drug possession and sexual battery when he pulled down the top of a 17-year-old girl. Most recently in 2010, Dick was detained in West Virginia from groping a bartender and a patron in a bar while intoxicated.

Dick is best-known for his role at Matthew Brock on "NewsRadio" but has also acted on "The Ben Stiller Show" and even had his own MTV series, "The Andy Dick Show." He also competed in Season 16 of "Dancing with the Stars." He and professional partner Sharna Burgess placed seventh overall before being eliminated.
