While promoting the release of her new book, "True Love," Jennifer Lopez shared her opinion on her ex-husband Marc Anthony's recent engagement to model, Shannon De Lima, Life & Style reports.

"Everybody knows he's getting engaged, and I am so happy for him," Lopez told Hoda Kotb at the 92nd YMCA in New York City on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Us Weekly reported that Anthony proposed to his on-again, off-again girlfriend. The now engaged couple, who have dating since 2012, are scheduled to tie the knot "in mid-November in the Dominican Republic," an Us Weekly source said.

Anthony's future marriage with De Lima marks his third time becoming a husband. He was previously married to Lopez, and prior to that, he was married to Puerto Rican actress, Dayanara Torres.

Though Marc Anthony has moved on, Lopez said during a recent "Today" showinterview with Maria Shrive that she has decided to stop dating for now was so she could "learn more about myself."

Lopez -- who has previoulsly been linked to many A-listers, including P.Diddy, and Ben Affleck -- also revealed that she felt as though she "wasn't worthy of love" growing up.

"Being a middle child and kind of being invisible sometimes, or you know, trying to get the attention. So what did I do? I overachieved. I was the one who ran track and I won medals every weekend. Or I was the one who would go on the show and steal the show. And that would give me confidence. But there was a part of me that just wanted love," she said.

Though she has chosen to not focus on relationships, Lopez certainly highlights her many famous relationships in her memoir.

According to Us Weekly, "True Love" reveals that Lopez's marriage to Anthony "was tumultuous, passionate and explosive." Together, Lopez and Anthony have two children, twins Emme Maribel Muniz and Maximilian David Muniz. The two finalized their divorce earlier this year.
