When Madden NFL 15 ratings are updated this Friday, there will be significant changes, especially at the quarterback position.

Sunday Night Football showed quarterback Aaron Rodgers has every right to be a 99 overall rating (OVR) in the game. The reason Rodgers deserves a 99 OVR is obvious: He's that good. He threw for six touchdowns in the first half before being pulled early in the third quarter.

His opponent Jay Cutler looked awful. Cutler threw interceptions, was sacked and did not look like he wanted to be in the game. His attitude was awful as well. Cutler is an 85 OVR, but he sure doesn't look like an 85. He will likely fall to about an 82.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson continued his dominance on the deep ball. He caught two long touchdown passes and had 152 yards in receiving Sunday evening. He is a 93 OVR, and he will stay at that rating. His catching rating is a 94. With the catches he has made this season, Nelson should be a 96 or 97 in the catching rating.

For the Bears (3-6) to have any success this season, they are going to need Matt Forte to run more. That is a tough task when you are down 42-0 at halftime. Forte is a great runner that can break some long ones, but he needs more opportunities. Forte is a 95 OVR and might fall to a 94. If he is to climb up in the rankings, he will need to get more carries.

What about the kickers?

Packers kicker Mason Crosby drilled a 52-yarder and has been pretty clutch all season. He has only missed one field goal all season, but Madden 15 only rates him 89 in the kick accuracy category. That needs to be changed.

Bears kicker Robbie Gould didn't get many opportunities, but he made both extra points. His kick accuracy rating is at a 90, and it will stay the same.
