Nicki Minaj Videos and News: 'Anaconda' Rapper, Director Accused of Promoting Adolf Hitler, Nazis With 'Only' [Watch]
Nicki Minaj is now under fire for using Nazi imagery in the music video for her latest single "Only" featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown off her upcoming third studio album "The Pinkprint."
In the black-and-white visual directed by Jeff Osborne, the Trinidadian emcee is transformed into an Adolf Hitler-like dictator, while the only color comes from a red Nazi-inspired "YM" symbol, which represents her record label Young Money.
The controversial clip sees a cartoon version of Minaj leading thousands of soldiers armed with rifle guns and tanks, as well as the buildings hanging swastika-style "YM" banners surrounded by gasmasks and exploding missiles and bombs.
Many criticized not only the "Anaconda" rapper's inappropriate Nazi references associated with Hitler and the Nuremberg Rally, but also her lyrics filled with explicit language and obscene content:
Nicki Minaj's highly anticipated "The Pinkprint" is set for a release on Dec. 15. Check out the lyric music video for "Only" below:
