NFL Team Football Schedule & Predictions 2014: 5 Teams Who Must Win Week 11 Games
The 2014 NFL season is gearing up for Week 11, and the games couldn't be more important down the stretch.
Every division in the league is a close race in both the AFC and NFC. This week, many teams are facing must-win games so they can remain in the playoff race or get home field advantage.
Here are five teams that have to win Week 11 games:
1. Denver Broncos
The Broncos face the 3-6 St. Louis Rams this week. The Broncos are 7-2. They still lead the AFC West division, but the competition is getting tough. This is a must-win game for the Broncos if they want to reach the 13-win mark for a third consecutive season. The game will be in St. Louis, but Peyton Manning should have no problem putting away the Rams and improving the Broncos record to 7-3 overall. As for the defense, they should be able to contain Austin Davis.
2. San Diego Chargers
After winning five consecutive games, the Chargers have fallen badly. The Chargers have lost their last three consecutive games to the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and a 37-0 defeat to the Miami Dolphins. Philip Rivers and the offense is looking inconsistent, and the defense is failing to get stops. The Chargers will face the 0-9 Oakland Raiders next game. If the Chargers lose this game, their hopes of making the playoffs will take a huge hit.
3. Kansas City Chiefs
Another AFC West team. This division has been one of the best in the league this season, except for the Raiders. The Chiefs have won their last four consecutive games, and with the Broncos facing the Rams, the Chiefs need to win. It won't be easy, but the Chiefs will have to play the Seattle Seahawks. Fortunately for the Chiefs, the game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium, and you can bet the fans their will break the decibel record once again. Expect Jamaal Charles to get a lot of carries in this game.
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. Last week the Steelers were embarrassed against the New York Jets, and they know this is a must-win game. The AFC North division has been extremely competitive with the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and even the Cleveland Browns all having a winning record. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers should be able to pick up a win in Tennessee this week.
5. New Orleans Saints
The Saints can't lose two home games in a row, can they? The Saints lost a devastating game in Week 10 to the San Francisco 49ers in overtime to drop to 4-5 overall. Oddly enough, 4-5 is good enough for first place in the NFC South. The Saints will play the Bengals in Week 11 at home, and Drew Brees needs to stop throwing so many crucial interceptions for this team to win. After this game, the Saints have to play the Ravens and then the Steelers.
