Tyga, a Young Money rapper, was recently pulled over by Los Angeles school police for driving recklessly following his music video shoot.

E! News reports that school police ordered the "Rack City" rapper to pull over at approximately 4:30 p.m. for driving his white Bentley at an "unsafe speed."

LAPD was also involved in the traffic stop and initially cuffed Tyga before later releasing him.

Though Tyga was cited for his violations and free to go following the traffic stop, his bodyguard was arrested and taken into a custody for possessing a gun allegedly not registered in California, TMZ reports.

Tyga's need for speed was apparently an attempt to make it on time for his appearance at the House of Blues in LA, E! News reports. He was scheduled to perform at the House of Blues with Chris Brown and Trey Songz as promotion for the trio's upcoming "Between the Sheets" tour, scheduled to begin on Jan. 28 in Virginia.

Because of the traffic stop by LAPD and school police, Tyga was unable to make his performance. However, the 24-year-old rapper remained in jovial spirits during the after show, despite his missed performance.

When asked a question about his late arrival to the House of Blues, Tyga responded to E! News, "That's why you have to come out to the tour, to see the real thing."

In addition to making headlines for his run-ins with the law, Tyga has also been making headlines for his rumored relationship with 17-year-old, Kylie Jenner. 

The rumored pair continue to receive backlash for their controversial romance (Jenner is underage), and it seems that Kim Kardashian is now among the many people who disapprove of Jenner and Tyga's union, Hollywood Life reports. A source claims that Kardashian is not upset over the age difference in the relationship. Instead, she is upset that Tyga broke up with his son's mother and her good friend, Blac Chyna, and moved on with her sister, Kylie Jenner.

Kardashian is so upset with Tyga that she allegedly cropped him out of a photo taken during French Montana's recent birthday party.
