Dumb and Dumber To (not a typo) is already in production. After close to 20 years, the gang is back with a ton of laughter, and their adding an Oscar winner to the cast as well.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence filmed a cameo for the film sequel. The self-confessed Dumb and Dumber fan spent a day to shoot a few scenes for the film, where she played the young version of Kathleen Turner's character, Fraida Felcher.

The actress has always said that she is a big fan of the movie. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, revealed that she knows every word to the comedy film. When put to the test by the talk show host, Lawrence passes with flying colors. Check the clip below:

The report also noted that since J. Law's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay set is close to Dumb and Dumber's Atlanta film set, it was easy for the star to make the quick stop to make the cameo. As a matter of fact, the entire Hunger Games cast has already visited the sequel's location.

The Huffington Post also noted that aside from Lawrence, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will also reprise their role as Lloyd and Harry. Peter and Bobby Farrelly will also return as directors of the sequel.

Cinemablend.com also reports that Cam Neely, Rachel Melvin, Steve Tom, Lauren Holden, and Rob Riggle will also comprise the cast of the film.

As for Lawrence, aside from her cameo in the sequel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to hit cinemas this coming November, while American Hustle is also slated to be released soon. X-Men: Days of Future Past, where she plays Mystique, will also be released by 2014.

Dumb and Dumber To is expected to be released by next year.
