Los Angeles Dodgers batter Matt Kemp suffered a bruised left knee after he slammed into the centerfield fence at Coors Field on Tuesday.

The MRI exam on Kemp's knee showed only a bone bruise, and the CT scan on his jaw came back negative.

"Matt Kemp runs full speed into the center field wall. He is still down as Sue Falsone attends to him.

"Matt Kemp left..game with a right knee contusion. Taken for precautionary x-rays on his jaw. No concussion-like symptoms."

The Los Angeles Times reports that "Kemp crashed full speed into the center-field wall and dropped to the warning-track turf like he'd just received a right cross from Manny Pacquia."

After being treated, Kemp continued on with the game. Not being able to fight his injuries any longer, he was replaced.

"Matt Kemp is coming out of the game," the LA Dodgers tweeted. "Victorino will move to CF with Rivera entering the game in LF."
