'Once Upon A Time' Season 4 Cast & Spoilers: Emma Will Eliminate Her Powers After Hurting Someone Close to Her [WATCH]
"The Snow Queen," the seventh episode of "Once Upon a Time" showed that Emma's gained powers, and with her strength, she's finally able to capture the Snow Queen.
In the Arendelle of the past, viewers learned the origin of the Snow Queen Ingrid and familial connection to sisters Elsa and Anna. She is the sister to Helga and Gerta (Anna and Elsa's mom). When the children are nearly stolen away as children, Ingrid used her powers to drop a frozen branch onto the attempted kidnapper.
In Storybrooke, Elsa and Emma practice a spell that could bind Ingrid, which nearly works. Later, after Ingrid's capture, David, Hook, Elsa and Belle discover that the magic mirror in the bell tower was a fake and used to get Emma alone in the police station. Ingrid froze the entrance so that her friends couldn't help her escape. But Ingrid uses knowledge of Emma to convince her that the two women have more in common that she thinks. She brings to light the normality of Emma's family, which Emma's been emotional about, particularly after watching Mary Margaret and David handle baby Neal. Emma's "normal" family later flinched when confronted with her power.
Meanwhile, Regina and Robin Hood bond strengthens as she tries to help him save his wife's life. Regina hurriedly looks for the cure and the author of the "Once Upon a Time" book.
"Smash the Mirror" airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC. On Nov. 9th, there episode will be a two-hour episode, where Emma will eliminate her powers now that they are beyond her control, as evidenced by the fact that she accidentally sends Henry flying into a tree following a fight. Additionally, Elsa and Anna's relationship will be "tested" as they determine the future of Arendelle. Also, the episode will also feature the Snow Queen's mirror, and how it affects the town of Storybrooke.
