'Naked and Afraid' Cast: Seth Rogen, James Franco to Co-Star on Survivalist Reality Show
Actors and buddies Seth Rogen and James Franco are co-staring in a different type of video: a survivalist reality show where they appear nude. As part of their promotions for their new comedy, "The Interview," Rogen and Franco will star in an episode of "Naked and Afraid" on the Discovery Channel.
The reality show drops contestants into deserted areas of the world to determine how they would survive but all the while showing as much of themselves as is legally allowed on television.
In a new preview of the upcoming episode, which will air Dec. 7, the "Freaks and Geeks" and "This Is The End" co-stars are shown wandering in the wilderness, not expecting to run into each other.
"What are you doing here?" Rogen says.
"You're supposed to be a hot Australian, like, survivalist," Franco said.
After moments of them realizing that they will have to rely on each other for food and shelter, Rogen says, "Do you know anything about surviving out here?"
Franco says, "I'm glad it's you brother."
Then the pair share a heartfelt hug without anything on.
"I was hoping I'd be teamed up with a woman, but I guess Franco is the next best thing," Rogen said in a confessional. "He's pretty much hairless. Take your glasses off, he's pretty much a woman."
Then the pair compare each other's bodies.
"Man, you really shaved everything, huh?" Rogen says to Franco, who recently shaved his head.
"Yeah, well I guess you didn't," Franco says.
Rogen then suggests they get "all the looking out of the way," and as E! News describes, the two men then "dance and flap their penises around."
On Instagram last month, Franco and Rogen teased their upcoming appearance on "Naked and Afraid."
"See if me and seth can make it, NAKED and AFRAID!!!! Wtf?! You'll see......." he wrote. "Boom, boom NAKED and Afraid. Me and Seth, in the bush, naked, together. For Reals."
