Actress Michelle Rodriguez is a tough cookie who speaks her mind, and if you don't like it, well then that's your problem.

Recently, the "Girlfight" star was asked about her sexual preference by Entertainment Weekly and she had no qualms about telling it like it is.

"I don't talk about what I do with my vagina, and they're all intrigued," she says of the media. "I've never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: What does she do with her vagina? Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I'm a lesbo."

When EW pointed out that that's not a fair assumption, Rodriguez laughed, "Eh, they're not too far off," she said. "I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f-ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks."

The spotlight on her sexuality is nothing new. According to People En Espanol, in 2006, she was linked to Kristianna Loken, her co-star in "Blood Rayne." The following year, she was on the cover of the lesbian magazine, Curve. The actress said at the time she did not feel "insulted", but did not like them to put "words in your mouth, not to categorize people."

Rodriguez was born in Texas to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father. When she was small, the family moved to the Dominican Republic, where Rodriguez spoke Spanish for three years, EW reported.

Her past didn't come without some emotional hurdles, however.

Sadly, her mother, "whom she calls the strongest woman she's ever known," had a nervous breakdown and the family moved to Jersey City, where the actress was raised largely by her grandmother.
