Iggy Azalea and Nick Young: 'Black Widow' Singer Teases Hot New Song 'Heavy Crown' With Ellie Goulding [Listen]
Iggy Azalea recently teased her latest single "Heavy Crown" featuring Ellie Goulding.
The Australian emcee released a 53-second long preview snippet of her new collaboration with the British pop star on her official YouTube page. The short clip opens with Goulding presumably singing the hook with her signature echo-y voice.
Iggy refers to herself as "captain of the cruise ship," then calls out haters in her verse.
"So keep it cute chick and don't be hatin' on a new chick / Go back and check your stats and bet they let you know I do's this," she boastfully spits over the '70s bass guitar-heavy rock instrumental. "Basis full or empty depends on your point of view chick / If you was mad before I bet you hate me for this new s**t."
"Heavy Crown," which is also featured in the movie trailer for upcoming British action film "Kingsman: The Secret Service," will be included on the "Black Widow" rapper's re-release album "Reclassified."
"Reclassified" will also have several additional songs, including the brand new collaborations from Jennifer Hudson on "Trouble" and Danish singer-songwriter MØ on "Beg for It," as well as "Iggy SZN," "We in This B***h" and the existing tracks off Iggy's debut studio album "The New Classic."
Meanwhile, the "Fancy" hitmaker and her NBA player boyfriend Nick Young recently purchased Selena Gomez's mansion in Tarzana, California for $3.45 million, Variety reports. The property features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half baths, a two-car garage and a guesthouse. The couple's new home comes with formal living and dining rooms, an open kitchen, a lavish resort-style backyard with a fire pit, a swimming pool and a basketball court.
Iggy Azalea's "Reclassified" is set for a release on Nov. 24. Check out her new single "Heavy Crown" featuring Goulding below:
