Black Friday 2014 Deals: The Best Buys In Best Buy's New Ad - Apple iPhone 6, iPads, TVs & More
This week, Best Buy dropped a huge 47-page Black Friday ad detailing a veritable cornucopia of deals on technology products (earlier leaked, but now confirmed) for this year's holiday shopping season. From the Apple iPhone 6 to new iPads to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 bundles to deep discounts on big screen HDTVs, here are the best deals you'll find at Best Buy after Thanksgiving.
The Most Ridiculous Deals
Like Walmart, Target and other brick-and-mortar electronics retail stores, Best Buy has some unbelievable doorbusters planned for the most fanatical Black Friday shoppers. This year, Best Buy might have outdone itself in terms of variety, discounts and the quality of the tech on sale.
Apple iPad Air 2: $100 off all models
These deals start with the brand new Apple iPad Air 2 -- in all storage models -- being sold at a $100 discount. That means you can get the latest iPad flagship model starting at about $400.
Samsung Galaxy S5: For $1, on contract
Another ridiculous deal: Get the Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 when you buy or re-up a two-year contract with Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. Yes, the contract is required in order to get the phone for less than a can of soda, but -- mind you -- this high-end smartphone normally costs $200 with the same contract and more than $500 without.
Panasonic 50-inch 1080p LED TV: $199
Rounding out the most ridiculous deals of the group, you can get a 50-inch from a trusted major brand for about $200 -- basically the same price that LED TVs half that size, built by less notable manufactures, usually costs. I imagine you'll need to be in the front of the line for this deal because these will probably sell out within minutes.
More Crazy Deals
There are a lot more amazing doorbusters in Best Buy's new circular, including an LG G3 also on contract for $1, Surface 2 tablet/laptops at $150 off, and the PlayStation 4 with the critically acclaimed games The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V thrown in for about $400.
If you or the one you're buying for aren't on the PS4 side of the console wars, Best Buy is also offering Xbox One consoles with the brand-new Assassin's Creed: Unity bundled in for $329.
Looking to get your hands on an iPhone 6 but not interested in paying the full price? Well, the iPhone 6 is a hot item, but Apple iPhone 6 16GB models are selling for $99 with a two-year contract and smartphone trade-in, which is the best deal we've seen so far this year.
There are dozens more deals in the huge Best Buy Black Friday 2014 circular ad that was just released, including discounted Apple MacBooks of various sizes and specification, low-priced iMacs, super cheap Samsung tablets and more.
Deal hunters: Make sure to check out the whole circular available here. Remember to pay attention to which deals are "in store only" and which ones you can pick up online first thing on Thanksgiving before turkey dinner.
Best Buy's doors open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Thursday, closing that night at 1 a.m.
Doors reopen bright and early at 8 a.m. on Black Friday. Ticket handouts for early birds begin "up to 2 hours" before the stores open, according to Best Buy's Black Friday site.
