Austin Mahone is ready to make moves in the studio.

Mahone, who was recently in Mexico for his tour, opened up about focusing on his debut album, Sipse.com reports. 

The 18-year-old singer wouldn't give too much details about the album but did explain that he will also be working on a book about his life. It will cover his start in music and look at what he expects to do in the future with his career.

Mahone also explained that he has become close to some Mexican music artists, and that he may be collaborating with some of them at a later date.

He had nothing but positive things to say about his Mexican fans.

"I'm very happy with the way I was received by the public," Mahone said of his Mexican fans. "I have been surprised by the receptiveness to my music in all countries, but especially in Mexico, where I have had unique experiences."

Mahone said that, just as the people of Mexico have been kind to him, he hopes his fans are having a good experience as well.

It was recently reported that Mahone is dating Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony. The two were caught holding hands in Miami before admitting they were together. 

The Cuban singer opened up about what she most likes about Mahone, according to J-14.

"I think just the way that he treats me and the way that he treats people [is the cutest thing about him]," she said. "He's just a really, really good guy and he treats me really, really well. And he just makes me feel nice."

Cabello didn't say whether or not she will be collaborating with Mahone, but she did tell HollywoodLife.com that it would be cool if her group worked with him.
