Latin Grammy Awards 2014 Date, Nominees & Performers: What to Expect and How to Catch a Live Stream
The 15th annual Latin Grammy Awards will take place on Nov. 20, and the show has big surprises in store.
Everything kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Univision. The show will be hosted by Eugenio Derbez.
There will be also be a live red carpet starting at 7 p.m, which will be hosted by Giselle Blondet, Chiquinquira Delgado, Alejandra Espinoza, Raul de Molina, Rodner Figueroa and Tony Dandadres. The red carpet will be streamed on LatinGrammy.com.
In addition, there will plenty of memorable performances as the Latin Grammy site says there will be "20 show-stopping performances." Carlos Santana will perform with Pitbull, Ricky Martin will sing alongside Camila, and Chris Brown will be joined onstage by Wisin and Pitbull.
It seems it will be a big night for Marc Anthony as well. On top of performing twice, Spotify believes he will take home the big prize. Based on streaming data, the Puerto Rican singer is slated to take home the Album of the Year prize for his "3.0."
Meanwhile, Spotify data suggests that Prince Royce will win his first Grammy for Best Song of the Year for "Darte un Beso," and Pablo Lopez might end up as the Best New Artist.
Singer Aymee Nuviola, who is nominated for Best Salsa Album of the Year, has already shared that she will be wearing Osvaldo Joya on the red carpet, notes People En Español. She explained that she will also come ready with a list of names of the people she wants to thank because "one never knows."
Nuviola will be portraying an older Celia Cruz in an upcoming TV show, and she talked a little bit about the project.
"I am going to be the Celia that everyone remembers, the one with the wigs and the colors until the end of her days," she said. "She is the center of the whole story. It's very interesting."
Another part of the show that many are excited about is Sebastián Rulli and Angelique Boyer's appearance. The two will be presenting an award.
