Golden Lady Chooses 'Wrecking Ball' Singer Miley Cyrus for Topless Tights Campaign Because Young Girls 'Adore Her' [Video]
Miley Cyrus has proved time and time again that she has no problem stripping down in front of a camera. However, this time she's doing it for a new ad campaign for Golden Lady, where she is seen flaunting Italian-made tights, and leaving little to the imagination.
The 30-second video ad, which was shot by famous photographer Terry Richardson, features the 21-year-old pop star wearing different pairs of Golden Lady's new line of seamless tights, along with a number of her trademarks, including a gold car, a teddy bear and her tongue, notes MTV.
The former Disney star shows off the tights while dancing, kneeling on top of a car and ripping a teddy bear apart. For much of the commercial, the "Wrecking Ball" singer is shirtless.
According to CeleBuzz.com, Golden Lady's seamless tights have "no bothersome stitching" and are treated with silver ions that make the stockings feel "fresh."
After the releasing the campaign video last on Nov. 14, Cyrus released racy images from the shoot that were also photographed by Terry Richardson at Siren Studios. In one photo, the former "Hannah Montana" star is seen wearing a black midriff-baring leather jacket, while unzipping and pulling down her leather mini skirt, reports Just Jared.
According to WWD, Miley was chosen to star in the international advertising campaign because "she's an international music icon with millions of fans, and young girls, who are the women of tomorrow, adore her," said Golden Lady president Nerino Grassi.
The "We Can't Stop" singer is known for going topless. In 2013, she posed without a top for the cover of Rolling Stone. She also frequently appears topless on her Instagram account.
On Nov. 18, Cyrus appeared at the MAC Cosmetics & MAC AIDS Fund "It's Not Over" Premiere in Los Angeles.
