'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Episode 12 'Red Rose' Spoilers: Will Gemma Survive?
On "Sons of Anarchy," Jax, who has been seeking revenge for wife Tara's death all along, now has to make a difficult decision following son Abel's revelations that Gemma is the one responsible for the bloody murder: Will he kill his own mother?
No one really expected Jax's 5-year-old son to reveal all about the SAMCRO matriarch brutally killing her daughter-in-law with a carving fork at the end of the Season 6 finale. Now that the beans are spilled, Katey Sagal recently discussed her character's fate, as well as what she is willing to do, in order to survive.
"I think she would kill anybody," Sagal said, according to E Online. "I do! At the end of the day, if it was to protect her grandchildren, her son or herself, I think she would kill anybody."
Then will she take vengeance on her grandson for telling the truth?
"How can she do anything but forgive him, really? It's out of the mouth of babes," she said. "I wonder sometimes if Gemma really thought she could get away with all of this. I don't know! I don't think she has animosity towards her grandson whatsoever."
When asked whether Gemma should get away with her crime or if she deserves to be punished, Sagal said, "It's gone so far that to me, either way is horrible. You will see the way it all pans out, but it's a tough call. But people do heinous things and still have lives. Oh yes, they do."
In addition, Charlie Hunnam, who plays the president of the outlaw biker gang, previously explained how difficult it would be for Jax to take revenge on Gemma.
"Anyone else in the world, 100 percent guaranteed he's gonna murder them in slow, brutal fashion," he told Entertainment Weekly. "But it's his mother, you know, it's gonna be complicated."
"Sons of Anarchy" Season 7 penultimate Episode 12 "Red Rose" is scheduled to air on Dec. 9 on FX.
