In the last episode, "The Boys of Sudworth Place," a popular defense lawyer named Jack Westbrook was kidnapped by two younger men named Andrew and Chad, who were seeking revenge against him for sexually abusing them as children, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Andrew and Chad then locked the attorney up in a dungeon and tortured him with water blasts and broken bottles in order to get him to confess to being a pedophile.
Eventually, Jack is shot by one of his victims.
The story mirrored the real-life occurrences of infamous college football coach Jerry Sandusky, who was convicted for using his charity and position of power to seduce young boys. In June 2012, Sandusky was found guilty on 45 charges of sexual assault against minors and was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison.
