'Yo Soy El Artista' Recap: Tito 'El Bambino' Premieres New Song; Will Pablo's Winning Streak Continue?
"Yo Soy El Artista" kicked off with a high-energy performance from all of the 10 contestants. They gathered on stage to sing and dance to "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias.
The actual competition started with Cathia and Nat'Lee going up against each other. Before Nat'Lee went up to perform, she received a special message from singer Victor Manuelle. Nat'Lee then went on stage and sang one of Manuelle's songs.
Although the judges have asked for more from Cathia during her performances, she ended up winning the first battle.
Envee sang "Try" by Pink. She was up against Carlos. Although both had big performances, it was Carlos who was declared the winner.
Tito "El Bambino" was the musical guest for the evening. He sang his new song, "Adicto a tus Redes."
Pablo and Tairon found out who would remain in the competition. For the fifth time, Pablo won the support of the public. Tairon gave a big yell, and said he was excited to have participated on the show.
Aaron and Cesar teamed up for a duet. The two sang "Adoro" by Armando Manzanero. They were challenged by Pablo, who sang Romeo Santos' "Propuesta Indecente." The judges picked Aaron and Cesar and said that Pablo still has a lot of work to do.
Joanna kicked off the next round by singing Selena's "Como La Flor." She competed against Jenilca, who sang "Lady Marmalade." Jenilca's performance won her the judge's votes.
Jenilca was also named a winner because of her dance moves. She and Cesar were seen as the strongest dancers and were therefore chosen to spend a day visiting Universal Studios parks.
Joanna, Pablo and Envee were the bottom three, but Envee was saved by Olga Tañon. The redhead was visibly excited when she heard her name.
Now, Joanna has to do what no one has been able to do: beat Pablo in the public vote.
